Past Concerts and Programs
In 2010, ADCA began the concert series "A Celebration of Dominican Classical Composers and Musicians," under the artistic direction of Adán Vásquez, president and chair of the Association. The concert series is ADCA's signature event. Click on "Season & Tickets" to see the current schedule.
The series will include each year the following themes:
- A gala concert featuring soloists, most of them members of the ADCA.
- Tribute concerts devoted to the music of a Dominican composer living or having lived for a significant period of time in the United States.
- A concert of Dominican folkloric music in colloboration with Maestro Iván Domínguez and his Conjunto Folklórico. This concert will be especially focused on highlighting the African roots of Dominican music.
